Why do I need this supplement?

Even when using high-quality ingredients, homemade meals are often missing key nutrients such as calcium, iron, and essential vitamins. This helps fill those gaps and support long-term health.
Do I need to use this supplement every day?
If you are feeding a complete and balanced recipe that includes this supplement, yes, this should be added daily to your dog’s meals.
How do I use V-Integra?
V-Integra is designed to be added daily to your dog homemade diet.
Each container includes a measuring scoop. The recommended amount in the recipe you are following should be weighed and added at mealtimes, then mixed thoroughly into the food immediately before feeding.
The daily amount can be given in a single meal or divided across multiple meals throughout the day.
Should I introduce V-Integra gradually?
Yes. If your dog is using V-Integra for the first time, we recommend introducing it gradually over 3 weeks. Start by feeding ⅓ of the recommended daily amount, then increase to ⅔ for the next week, and move to the full recommended amount in week three.
Can I use this supplement with ingredients I already have at home, without following a recipe?
No. V-Integra is designed to work alongside properly formulated recipes and is not intended to balance homemade meals that haven't been nutritionally formulated.
Can I use this supplement alongside commercial food?
If your dog is eating 100% commercial dog food, V-Integra should not be used. If you are feeding a mixed diet, we recommend working with a nutrition professional to ensure the correct amount is being used.
Is it safe for dogs with allergies?
Yes, all V-Integra products are free from animal and plant-derived proteins. This makes them suitable for use in home-cooked diets formulated for dogs and cats with food allergies or protein sensitivities. If your dog or cat has a diagnosed allergy or medical condition, we recommend consulting your veterinarian before use.
Can I heat or freeze the supplement?
No, the supplement should always be added after cooking. Heat can damage some vitamins and reduce their effectiveness. You can prepare your dog’s meals in advance and freeze them if needed, but the supplement should be mixed in fresh at serving time.
I see small clumps or yellow granules in the powder. Is that normal?
Yes, this is completely normal. Small clumps can form because of changes in humidity or temperature and they do not affect the quality or safety of the product.
The yellow granules are microencapsulated vitamins, which are designed to protect the nutrients and help keep them stable and effective for longer.
Where is this product manufactured?
V-Integra is manufactured in Italy by Vetekipp, a company based in Padua, Italy. The products are developed and formulated by veterinary nutritionists and produced in Italy before being imported into the UK by Dog Advice For You Ltd.
How long does delivery take and how much does it cost?
We will process and dispatch your order as quickly as possible. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information.
Delivery typically takes 3–5 working days from dispatch, although delivery times may vary depending on your location.
Standard delivery is free on orders over £30.
